Pappu’s mother to contest from Purnia with Cong support

Yadav said that CWC member and in-charge of Bihar affairs Sardar Iqbal Singh has agreed to support her mother’s candidature from Purnia.

“There will not be any official nominee of Congress in Purnia. Instead, it will support my mother,” Yadav told PTI.

Pappu, an RJD MP, who cannot contest this time due to his conviction in a murder case, said his mother would file her nomination papers on Thursday.
