RJD demands CBI enquiry into scam

RJD today demanded CBI enquiry into the alleged withdrawal of Rs 11,412 crore by the Bihar Government since 2002-03. "It is fair that only a probe by an independent agency, namely the CBI, can unearth the alleged withdrawal scam in Bihar," RJD Spokesman Shakeel Ahmed Khan told reporters.

RJD today demanded CBI enquiry into the alleged withdrawal of Rs 11,412 crore by the Bihar Government since 2002-03.

"It is fair that only a probe by an independent agency, namely the CBI, can unearth the alleged withdrawal scam in Bihar," RJD Spokesman Shakeel Ahmed Khan told reporters.

He criticised the NDA government for objecting to the CBI probe in the matter and alleged that the state government was submitting fake bills to justify the utilisation of the central funds over the years.
