Two pilots were killed today after an Indian Air Force M-17 chopper crashed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district. The chopper crashed due to technical reasons, officials said, close to the Srinagar airport in an open field near Garend Kalaan village in Budgam around 10 am. A part of a four-storey commercial building collapsed in Karol Bagh area in New Delhi today morning. The fire department received a call about the incident, at Padam Singh Road, at 8:40 am. Flight operations in all airports across north India which were shut on Wednesday morning have resumed. The airports were closed for civilian air traffic in the morning, according to a statement by the Airports Authority of India. In a special mission in March, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch an electronic intelligence satellite Emisat for the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), 28 third party satellites and also demonstrate its new technologies like three different orbits with a new variant of Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) rocket.
