Photos: Cyclone Vayu skirts the western coast of India
Cyclone Vayu is the second major storm facing India in 2019. While it was expected to make landfall on the western coastline of India around Gujarat on Thursday, reports indicate it has changed trajectory overnight and is now moving northwards. A look at the ground realities where the cyclone has effected life.

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) members seen inside the IAF C-17 aircraft as it lands at Jamnagar, in Gujarat. The NDRF team will carry out rescue and relief missions for those affected by Cyclone Vayu. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) soldiers cut branches of an uprooted tree that fell in the compound of a house from Cyclone Vayu caused winds at Diu.
