PHOTOS: Delhi wakes to record rain, waterlogging and traffic jams

The capital received 26.4mm of rain in the past 24 hours, the highest single day downpour observed in June since 2013. The MeT office has said more rain is expected in the coming days as Western disturbances hit the city. This welcome respite from the heat of past weeks also brought with it longer commutes for motorists in the morning and waterlogging at several locations across the city.
