Dharshana MV scored third highest marks in CBSE class XII exams in differently-abled category. Hailing from Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu, Dharshan, who has almost nil vision in right eye and partial in left, uses magnifying glass to read. (PTI)

Bhoomi Sawant, a science student, scored 99.4% marks to emerge as the all-India second topper. Sawant, a student of DAV School in Sector 8, scored 100 in physics, chemistry, mathematics and computer science and 97 in English. (PTI)

Minnatullah, who had participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs, has scored 93.7% in his class 12 boards. His achievements come despite his family’s financial constraints. Hailing from Araria district of Bihar, Minnatullah stays in Noida sector 8 with his parents and five siblings. His father Reyazuddin (48) is the sole bead earner of the family. Every day Reyazuddin rides his cycle to collect brown bread from factories and supply them to shopkeepers in Noida for a meagre sum. (HT Photo)
