The race to Raisina Hill is geared for a showdown with the Presidential elections scheduled on July 17. The NDA’s candidate Ram Nath Kovind, the former governor of Bihar, is pitted against the Opposition’s counter candidate, former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. A total of 4,896 parliamentarians and legislators will take to the ballot at 10am today with poll results slotted for a July 20 reveal.
