From January 10, 2022, precaution dose will be provided to the frontline covid warriors - specially the healthcare professionals. Senior citizens will co-morbidity will also be eligible for this dose. However, they would need a go-ahead from their doctors to get this dose.

After the minimum time period of 39 weeks from having had the second covid vaccine shot, people will be eligible to register for the precaution dose. This was stated by the CoWin platform Head RS Sharma.(Hindustan Times)
