This season, go minimalist chic and get inspired by the latest runway nail trend - the negative space manicure. Just paint your nails in your favourite hue, while doing so, leave out an area unpainted to give the illusion of the nail enamel floating against a bare nail bed. (L): Using mint-hued nail enamel, the spring-summer showcase for designer Charlotte Ronson gave a minimal chic twist to the good old French manicure. (C): The peach, reverse moon-shaped negative space manicure rocked the ramp at the Delpozo spring presentation at the Fashion Week. (R): The negative space in between dual-toned nail enamel amped the nail game at the Creatures Of Comfort spring-summer presentation.

If you don't want to wear drab colours, you can bling up your nails, just leave out an area unpainted.
