16-year old found hanging in Church

A teenage boy was found hanging from a ceiling fan of a church in the Jamalpur area on Tuesday.The deceased has been identified as Aman Prem, 16, a resident of LIG flats in Jamalpur area. The incident has left the family shocked.

According to information, the victim left the house for school in the morning, but instead went to the church and was later found hanging.

A priest spotted the boy hanging and he immediately informed the police.

The Jamalpur police reached the spot and initiated investigation in the case.Parents of the deceased told the police that Aman was mentally disturbed and did not talk to anyone at home.

The post-mortem of the deceased was conducted at civil hospital and the police filed proceedings under section 174 of the CrPC.
