2 jailed for outraging woman's modesty
Two men have received two-year rigorous imprisonment for outraging the modesty of a woman. Convicts Teetu Singh and Jaggi Singh will also have to submit Rs 500 each as fine, under a sentence that judicial magistrate Baneet Kumar Narang pronounced here on Friday. Suspect Gurtej Singh was acquitted.

Two men have received two-year rigorous imprisonment for outraging the modesty of a woman.
Convicts Teetu Singh and Jaggi Singh will also have to submit Rs 500 each as fine, under a sentence that judicial magistrate Baneet Kumar Narang pronounced here on Friday. Suspect Gurtej Singh was acquitted.
"The crime was reported in 2006 but with the police not registering a complaint, the case landed in the court in 2007," said the victim's lawyer, Jagjiwan Ram.
