The incident took place when the bike rally, led by District Congress Committee (rural) president Gurjit Singh Aujla, reached the community centre at Guru Ka Bagh.(HT Photo)
The injured, Sarwan Singh, Sukhwinder Singh and Aman Kumar, were rushed to a hospital.

The youths allegedly started beating Congress workers with rods and baseball bats. “The attackers belonged to the ruling party, alleged Aujla in a press conference.
He alleged that son of a woman councillor of Ajnala and his aides were among the attackers. A complaint has been lodged with police, he added.
Accompanied by state Congress secretary Mandeep Singh Manna, he said: “Akali MLA was behind the attack on Congress workers, who were taking out a peaceful rally against drugs.”
Congress leaders also announced to gherao residence of MLA Amarpal Singh Bony on Tuesday against the attack.
