Sushant, a former BJP MP, was here to constitute the party unit to enhance its reach among the district people. He said that AAP had already constituted party units in six districts-Sirmaur, Solan, Una, Chamba, Kangra, Mandi. He added that Neelkanth Sood was selected as district coordinator of the party in Kullu.

Slamming the BJP and Congress party leaders in the state, he said both parties had lost its charm among the people.

Sushant added, “We urge the state government to speed up work on Kullu-Joginder Nagar road via Bhubu Jyot Tunnel, which is going at a snail's pace, while the specific portion of revenue earned from power projects and the sale of forest wood should be invested here for the development of the district.”

“To encourage tourism activity in Kullu and tribal Lahaul and Spiti, the central government should enhance rail network for Pathankot-Leh and Chandigarh-Leh via Kullu-Manali, which can help boost the tourism sector in the district,” he added.
