The minimum temperature of 5.0°C was recorded at Adampur, 6.3°C at Halwara, 6.0°C at Pathankot, 6.4°C at Bhatinda, 8.0°C at Amritsar, and 7.0°C at Jammu, said defence PRO Naresh Vij, while stating the temperature recorded at different army bases.

At Srinagar, the minimum temperature was recorded at -4.8°C and at Leh, the minimum temperature was -16.2°C, he added.
"Adampur recorded a fall in maximum temperature and remained coolest during the day. The maximum temperature, recorded here was 9.4°C, while at other places it was recorded at around 11°C at other base stations. At Leh, the maximum temperature was recorded at -1.0°C," he added.
"In the next 24 hours, cloudy skies, mild mist with little fog and cold light breeze during night is expected," he said.
