In a statement issued here on Saturday, Chugh accused Amarinder of misleading the people. "This rally was organised so that he could settle a score with some fellow Congress leaders. It has nothing to do with people's issues," said the BJP leader.
Confronting Amarinder who had asked for a national policy on drugs, Chugh said: "Why was he mum during the 10-year UPA (United Progressive Alliance) rule, and between 2002 and 2007, when he was chief minister?"
