Captain Amarinder’s mother, Mohinder Kaur, admitted to PGIMER
Punjab chief minister-designate Capt Amarinder Singh’s mother Mohinder Kaur, 95, was admitted to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.
Punjab chief minister-designate Capt Amarinder Singh’s mother Mohinder Kaur, 95, was admitted to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.
A PGIMER official said her condition is stable and she will be discharged soon.

She was undergoing treatment at Columbia Asia Hospital in Patiala before being brought to PGIMER on Tuesday night. “The patient had rectal bleeding and has been treated. Tests are being conducted to ascertain the cause,” the official said.
Mohinder Kaur was shifted from the emergency to a private ward on Wednesday. Her daughter-in-law Preneet Kaur visited her after which Amarinder also enquired after her health.
