Chandigarh MC elections on 18 December: State EC Rakesh Mehta
UT state election commissioner Rakesh Mehta on Tuesday declared municipal corporation (MC) elections for 26 wards will be held on December 18 and the election results will be announced on December 20.

UT state election commissioner Rakesh Mehta on Tuesday declared municipal corporation (MC) elections for 26 wards will be held on December 18 and the election results will be announced on December 20.
With the declaration of elections code of conduct comes in force from November 15.
Filing of nominations will start from November 22 and the last date for filing the nomination is November 29.
Above five lakh voters will be casting their votes.
