Class 12 student abducted; escapes from kidnapper's custody

The police have booked five people for allegedly abducting a Class 12 student, while he was on his way to school at Baghapurana on Tuesday morning.

The police have booked five people for allegedly abducting a Class 12 student, while he was on his way to school at Baghapurana on Tuesday morning.

However, the student, Raj Singh, managed to escape from the kidnappers' custody after they stopped their car near Chanuwala village for fuel. In his statement to the police, Raj complained that he was kidnapped near the Shiv Mandir at Kaleke road in Baghapurana.

Investigation officer Major Singh said, "A case has been registered against Nachhattar Singh, a resident of Baghapurana, and other fours under Section 364 (kidnapping or abducting in order to murder) of the IPC. Investigations are on."
