Dal Khalsa has demanded a probe by a sitting judge of Punjab and Haryana high court into the allegations levelled by drug lord Jagdish Bhola against state NRI affairs minister Bikram Singh Majithia.

"It is a matter of serious concern that requires urgent action. People ought to know, whether the allegations are fake or true," he said.

"It's not only Bhola, who was pointing a finger towards Majithia but the former intelligence chief DGP (retd) Shashi Kant too had blamed Majithia for patronising drug mafia," he added.

He also condemned the clash that took place at Takht Patna Sahib terming it "a shameful and disgraceful act". Party head H S Dhami said that it was all the more unfortunate that the violent clash occurred on the solemn occasion of Gurpurab. Dhami said that notwithstanding who is at fault, the incident had put the heads of every sensible person in shame.
