DMCH medical superintendent Sandeep Puri in his police complaint told, they had given the company the contract to lift and dispose off bio-medical waste. He alleged that the company has violated the agreement by misusing the waste.
Heaps of bio-medical waste from DMCH were recovered from a scrap dealer's shop on Tajpur road during a raid conducted by the Punjab Pollution Control Board.
A case under sections 406 and 402 of IPC has been registered against the company at Haibowal police station. ASI Surinder Singh said the matter is being investigated.
