Five more arrested in gangster escape
The district police have arrested five more people for the escape of gangster Rajiv Raja of Ludhiana, who was freed from police custody while being taken to Patiala from Bathinda central jail for a hearing in a case on the Maur-Mansa road near Bhai Bakhtor village on March 10.

The district police have arrested five more people for the escape of gangster Rajiv Raja of Ludhiana, who was freed from police custody while being taken to Patiala from Bathinda central jail for a hearing in a case on the Maur-Mansa road near Bhai Bakhtor village on March 10.Three pistols, one revolver and the carbine, which the accused had snatched from a cop were recovered from them.
The arrested have been identified as Mandeep Singh, of Thapar Nagar in Ludhiana, Ramanpreet Singh alias Ruby of Chandigarh, Randheer Singh Baja Khana, Faridkot, Kuwinder Singh from Moga and Gurcharan Singh Gairi.
