Four vehicles to aid Chandigarh during calamities flagged off by Kirron Kher

City MP Kirron Kher flagged off four rapid response vehicles for Disaster Management Centre, Chandigarh administration, here on Monday.

City MP Kirron Kher flagged off four rapid response vehicles for Disaster Management Centre, Chandigarh administration, here on Monday.

The vans were donated under Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) at UT guest house. They are procured at the cost of Rs 25 lakh.

The vehicles will aid in providing quick relief to the citizens during accidents or natural calamities. City mayor Arun Sood was also present at the flag off ceremony.
