GNDU releases online admission schedule for foreign languages

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) on Thursday released the online admissions schedule for courses run by the department of foreign languages. Department head Dr Mohan Kumar said that online admissions to full-time diploma courses in Russian and French would be done from June 3 to July 3.

Department head Dr Mohan Kumar said that online admissions to full-time diploma courses in Russian and French would be done from June 3 to July 3.

Counselling would be held at 10am on July 10 in the department.

Similarly, admissions to part-time certificate courses in Russian, French and German; diploma in French and German; and advanced diploma in French would also be conducted from June 3 to July 3. The counselling for Russian certificate course would be held on July 10, for certificate course in French and German on July 13, and for advanced diploma in French on July 12 in the department.

Dr Mohan said that if vacancies still existed, admissions would be done with the permission of HoD up to July 19. Admissions with the permission of dean, academic affairs, could be done up to July 24 and with the permission of vice chancellor up to July 31.

Thereafter, permission of the syndicate along with late fee of Rs 5,000 was required for admissions from August 1 to 7.
