The Punjab government has sought a report on scan expert posted at Nakodar civil hospital.In an official communication, superintendent health and family welfare department (health-1 branch) to director health said that a self-explanatory report with recommendation on Nakodar residents' representation should be sent to the government immediately.

Residents in a representation to principal sectary health had strongly opposed scan expert's duty for two days at Phillaur civil hospital by Jalandhar civil surgeon. They said the scan expert was appointed on the orders of Punjab and Haryana high court and that the government should appoint new expert at Phillaur hospital.
