Another significant development is handing over of departments of public relations and labour and employment to political advisor to CM, Jagdish Chopra. It is probably for the first time that a political advisor in Haryana has been entrusted with file work in the CMO.

PSCM RK Khullar has kept majority of the important departments like home, finance, power, revenue, town and country planning, industries and commerce, development and panchayats, irrigation, health, higher and school education, medical education, agriculture, technical education, sports, forest and wildlife, among others, with himself.

Additional PSCM Rakesh Gupta will hold the charge of animal husbandry and dairying, transport, urban local bodies, public health, co-operation, women and child development.
