Hisar village women want liquor vend closed
Women of Matar Shyam village, near Hisar, have demanded the permanent closure of a liquor vend in the village, claiming that it has destroyed peace and harmony in the village as drunkards harass village girls and women.

Women of Matar Shyam village, near Hisar, have demanded the permanent closure of a liquor vend in the village, claiming that it has destroyed peace and harmony in the village as drunkards harass village girls and women.
Some women reached the liquor shop to demand its closure and forced three employees of the vend to flee.
They threatened to intensify their agitation if the government or any other agency tried to reopen this liquor shop in the village.
