Hotel manager, six others booked for parking vehicles on service lane

As part of its drive to penalise violators parking their vehicles on the service lanes on Ferozepur road, the police have booked the manager of Hotel Gulmor and six car owners, who parked their vehicles in front of the hotel.

Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Satnam Singh at Division Number 5 police station, said during patrolling at Ferozepur road that he, along with a police party, noticed many vehicles parked on the service lane outside Hotel Gulmor.

The ASI said the police had already issued warning to the hotel manager to deter customers from parking vehicles on service lane, but he failed to do so.

A case under Section 283 of the IPC for creating hurdles in easy flow of traffic has been registered against the hotel manager and owners of six cars.

The police had earlier booked managers of Hotel Nagpal Regency and Hotel Park Plaza for similar violations.
