Infant girl with congestive cardiac failure needs help

Christian Medical College and Hospital has sought financial aid for a three-month-old baby girl admitted in its paediatric ICU with acute bronchopneumonia, respiratory failure, congestive cardiac failure and metabolic acidosis.

Dr Jugesh Chhatwal, professor and head of paediatrics department, CMCH, said, "Sunaina has been on ventilator support, IV Fluid, IV antibiotics and other supportive care for the past four days. But, she requires further hospitalisation and ICU care."
