Around 50 fire tenders from Adampur airforce, Jalandhar, and Hoshiarpur fire departments were pressed into action to douse off the fire that started around 7.30 pm and lasted for around four hours.

The information for firetenders was provided by factory owner Rajan Kumar, who got the information from a passerby who spotted flames from the factory, that was closed after workers had left on Friday night at 7.30 pm.

The cause of fire is still unknown. However, the owner suspects foul play.
