Chouhan said he addressed an election rally in Gorakhpur on Saturday evening and then headed for Shimla.

Replying to a question whether Lal Krishan Advani wanted to contest from Bhopal, he said that he had offered Bhopal to the veteran leader, but the party high command took the final decision with his consent. “Who wanted to contest from where is an old issue. Now, the talking point is Modi, who is going to be the next prime minister of the country,” said Chouhan.

“Modi is a charismatic personality who gave a vision and a hope to the people of the nation,” he said.
Chouhan is accompanied by wife Sadhna, elder son Kunal and younger one Kartekey. The family visited Matiana, 45 km from here. They also went to Wild Flower Hall and in the evening took a stroll on the Mall Road.
