Punjab CM Badal to leave for US on Wednesday

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal will be leaving for the US on a weeklong official visit on Wednesday where he is scheduled to undergo medical check-up, according to official sources.

Former director of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Dr KK Talwar and special principal secretary to CM Gaggandeep Singh Brar will accompany Badal.

It is learnt that CM, who spearheaded the SAD-BJP election campaign in the state, was advised to undergo some specific medical tests by his doctors.
