Rahul Gandhi pays obeisance at Golden Temple

He reached Amritsar at 4pm

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi paid obeisance at Golden Temple Saturday evening.

According to party sources, it’s his private visit.

He reached Amritsar at 4pm.

Rahul rejected VIP entry and opted to stand in a long queue to pay obeisance at sanctum sanctorum at Golden Temple. The devotees took selfies with him.

He is accompanied by Lok Sabha MP from Amritsar Gurjit Singh Aujla, MLA Sunil Dutti and other local Congress leaders.

There is no other meeting planned during his brief visit.
