Revenue record of Dasuya computerised

Dasuya has become the first sub-division in the Doaba region to have computerised the entire revenue record of villages. Deputy commissioner Varun Roojam said that the revenue record of 403 villages, including the urban villages falling under municipal committees of Dasuya, Tanda and Garhdiwala, had been computerised.

Dasuya SDM Barjinder Singh said that 'Jamabandi fards' could be had from respective fard centres from 9 am to 5 pm. He said people could check their record at www.plrs.org.in. and in case of a discrepancy, could apply for a correction.

The SDM said that people could now get a copy of mutation deed while sitting at home. "Anybody who wants a copy of the mutation deed delivered at home, can deposit a stamped envelope on his name with the registry clerk and mention in Form no 1 that he wants a copy of the mutation. The same would be delivered to him by post," he added.
