A runaway couple allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a running train near Bawani Khera railway station in Bhiwani district on Saturday, police said.

A runaway couple allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a running train near Bawani Khera railway station in Bhiwani district on Saturday, police said.

They added Rakesh Kumar and Pinki, both 35-year-old residents of Kharkari village, had an illicit relationship and that the woman was already married and had three children.

The couple had eloped only recently, a police spokesperson said, adding that investigations were on.
