Punjab welfare minister Gulzar Singh Ranike said a user ID and a password for operating this website would be generated for all secondary schools/colleges/institutes by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and the information regarding this would be disseminated through SMS and e-mail.

He said after having received the user ID and password, schools/colleges/institutes would have to fill requisite information in the institute administration column, such as profile, bank statement, courses offered and fee structure.

Ranike said Bindu Walia, the department's joint director, had been deputed as the nodal officer. For queries, people can send email to jdwelfarepunjab@gmail.com or dial toll-free number 1800-137-0015.
