At a function organised to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Bahra University and Everonn Skill Development Centre, Chennai, to train the students, he said that if the needed steps were not taken to produce more skilled youngsters, the country would face challenging task before it mitigating in the next decade.

Under the MoU, youngsters who have passed Class 12 from across the state may enroll for the training at the university campus and will get a certificate at the completion of the course

Singh said that since the country has the highest population of youngsters in the world, it was imperative to train them to make them “self-employed”.

“Perseverance, self-confidence and dedication are the qualities that can help a youngster get an employment. Leadership qualities should not be searched in politicians alone but should be inculcated by everyone in various spheres of life,” he said.
