Sukhbir has admitted failure of his development model: Bajwa

Punjab Congress president and Gurdaspur candidate Partap Singh Bajwa on Wednesday said that deputy chief minister and Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has admitted the “utter failure of his own development model while projecting the Gujarat model for the entire country”.

Bajwa, while addressing a series of meetings in various villages of Dina Nagar assembly segment, said it is too well-known a fact that the Gujarat model of Narendra Modi amounted to favouring a microscopic minority and had collapsed on the human development scale.

“Sukhbir should just go through the Gujarat statistics on issues like student dropout rate and malnutrition among children”. He said Gujarat was a laggard state as compared to the national average on such indices.
