Tension at Bathinda as dera followers, Sikh youths clash

Tension prevailed at Koreana village near here after a clash between followers of Dera Sacha Sauda and some Sikh activists on Sunday afternoon.

Tension prevailed at Koreana village near here after a clash between followers of Dera Sacha Sauda and some Sikh activists on Sunday afternoon.

The incident took place when three Sikh youths reportedly went to stop a religious function of Dera followers in the village. Heavy police force was rushed to village to check any untoward incident.

Bathinda senior superintendent of police(SSP) Swapan Sharma said that three youths entered the religious function of Dera followers but the situations was under control. He was camping at the village till filing of the report.
