Association president KK Bawa, who is also a senior leader of Congress, said, "The central government should form an inquiry committee into Delhi, Gujrat and Punjab riots that broke out at different points of time.
He said during riots several people were murdered brutally irrespective of their religion.
"It is a shame for every citizen of the country that there have been so many communal riots in our country. Time has come when the government should act hard against those, who were involved in riots against the community," Bawa said.
"There was a time when innocent persons even in Punjab were brutally killed by terrorists. Truth should come out as to who were the culprits behind those killings," he said.
