Thunderstorm uproots trees, traffic disrupted for hours

Hundreds of vehicles were seen stranded on the road even as traffic was diverted to Patiala-Sirhind road. Power supply too was affected in most areas of Patiala and nearby towns as electricity poles were grounded.
