Upgrade Nakodar civil hospital: Residents

Nakodar residents have demanded that the state government should upgrade the civil hospital. Shiromani Akali Dal councillor Aditya Bhatara, in his representation to administrative secretary health and family welfare Punjab, has high-lighted the need for upgrade of the hospital.

Nakodar residents have demanded that the state government should upgrade the civil hospital. Shiromani Akali Dal councillor Aditya Bhatara, in his representation to administrative secretary health and family welfare Punjab, has high-lighted the need for upgrade of the hospital.

He said the present 50-bed hospital was inaugurated in 1983 and is catering to the needs of poor even from far-flung areas.

He claimed that 1,49,808 patients came for OPD checking and 1,807major and 4,071 minor operations were performed in the year 2012.
