A sequel to Ala Ela on the anvil

The Telugu sleeper hit Ala Ela will soon have a part two with the same lead cast. A bromance about three friends turned out to be a hit through positive word-of-mouth.

"We recently announced at the film's success meet that we plan to have a sequel, which will go on floors in June next year. The lead cast will be the same," said the film's director Anish Krishna.

A bromance about three friends played by Rahul Ravindran, Vennela Kishore and Shanni, Ala Ela turned out to be a hit through positive word-of-mouth. The film is currently running in the cinemas.

The director hopes that the sequel too turns out to be a hit.

"Many people called me after the release of Ala Ela and said they haven't laughed so much in a long time. The success has given us lot of confidence and we hope it continues with the sequel as well," he said.
