Actor Priyamani gets engaged to boyfriend of many years

South Indian actor Priyamani took to Twitter on Sunday to announce her engagement to long-time beau Mustafa Raj. The ceremony took place on Friday.

Actor Priyamani, who has worked in all four south Indian languages including National Award-winning Tamil film Paruthiveeran, got engaged on Friday. She took to Twitter to make the announcement on Sunday.

“Happy to announce that Mustafa Raj and I got engaged on Friday the 27th at a close and private function at home,” Priyamani shared on her Twitter page on Sunday.

Priyamani, according to a source close to her, met Mustafa during Indian Premiere League (IPL) a few years ago. “Mustafa’s association with IPL is via his event management company. Priyamani had met him during a match in Bangalore a few years ago. Since then they’ve been dating and finally decided to settle down,” said the source.

Priyamani currently awaits the release of her Kannada film Dana Kayonu.
