Agnyaathavaasi actor Pawan Kalyan: Films are not in my mind anymore, focus is on politics
The Jana Sena party chief is gearing up for the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Pawan Kalyan’s recent release Agnyaathavaasi has not done much good for the makers and distributors as the movie turned out to be a disaster at the box office. Not just that, they might also be sued by Jerome Stalle, who directed the French film Largo Winch for plagiarism. Pawan Kalyan has, however, not made any comments regarding the same. The Jana Sena party chief is gearing up for the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Just like his counterparts in Tamil Nadu -- Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan -- he is currently on a political tour to meet fans and followers. The actor held a press conference after the first day of the tour to Karimnagar and that is where he said, “Films are not in my mind anymore. Focus is on politics.”
He might not act in films as he plans to contest not just in Andhra Pradesh, but also Telangana. But, he seems to be set on keeping one foot in the industry as a producer. His banner PK Creative Works will be bankrolling the upcoming Nithiin starrer.
Pawan Kalyan’s next tour will be in Anantapur to be held later this week. This tour will be 3 days long, and will be followed by a visit to Kurnool and Vizag. The dates for Kurnool and Vizag are yet to be fixed.
