Jai Lava Kusa director KS Ravindra booked for rash driving
KS Ravindra allegedly rammed his car into another at Jubilee Hills on Monday; he was allegedly drunk at the time of incident.
Jai Lava Kusa director KS Ravindra aka Bobby has been booked for driving rashly and ramming a private car. According to media reports, the police confirmed that a complaint has been registered against the director and he was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. The incident allegedly occurred near the city’s Cafe Abbott on Monday when Ravindra was allegedly returning from an industry party.
The complaint, according to a PTI report, states that the director rammed the car and sped away. Based on the complaint by Harmender Singh, a case was registered under Section 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) of IPC against the film director.
It was also the complainant who claimed that director was drunk at the time of the accident. He shared the details of the incident on his social media account and wrote, “It is a shame on such a big celebrity, who has actually done a big mistake, instead of apologising,he has run away.”
The police said that they would need to verify the details before commenting further.
The director’s last movie was Jai Lava Kusa,which had Jr NTR portraying three roles. The film received rave reviews, especially for one of the roles that saw Jr NTR with shades if grey. Before this, the director/screenwriter worked with Pawan Kalyan on Sardaar Gabbar Singh, which did not fare well at the box office.
