Kanika Kapoor records her first Bengali number
Kanika Kapoor recorded her first Bengali track for a film last week.
Often Bollywood singers explore projects outside the industry. They try their hand at singing in other languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, etc. Now popular singer Kanika Kapoor, too, went down the same road. The artiste recorded a Bengali number for a film.

The singer, who has tracks such as Baby Doll and Chittiyan Kalaiyaan to her credit, recorded the song last week. A source close to Kapoor reveals, “This is the first time Kanika has recorded a song in Bengali. The peppy number will be used for a dance sequence in the film. The song will release this Eid.”

When contacted, the singer confirmed the news. She said, “Singing a Bengali song is a welcome change. As an artiste, you strive for variations, and I’m blessed to have such a diverse graph in my musical journey.”
