Rakul Preet steps in as Parineeti exits Mahesh Babu’s next
Parineeti Chopra was to star opposite Mahesh Babu in his next Tamil-Telugu bilingual by AR Murugadoss. However, it will now be Rakul Preet Singh as Parineeti made an exit from the film.
Actor Rakul Preet Singh will reportedly be seen opposite superstar Mahesh Babu in his yet-untitled next Telugu-Tamil bilingual after Parineeti Chopra’s exit from the film.
“Parineeti has left the project and the exact reasons are yet unknown. As her replacement, the makers are signing Rakul, who has already done a test shoot. The final negotiations are currently underway,” said a source from the film’s unit.

To be helmed by AR Murugadoss, the project is slated to go on floors in August.
The film, which will have music by Harris Jayaraj, will be bankrolled by Tagore Madhu. To be predominantly shot in Mumbai, the film is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 90 crore.
