MUMBAI: Bombay Gymkhana defended their title by winning the doubles team event while Sushant Niddodi and Deanne Rodrigues clinched the open mixed doubles title in the Matunga Gymkhana Maharashtra state masters inter-club badminton tournament.

Team event: Bombay Gymkhana beat Dadoji Konddev, Thane 2-0; 90+ combined age group: Shailesh Daga & Ayaz Bilawala beat Ajay Viz & Sumit Patankar 21-6, 21-11; 100+ combined age group: Naval Birkumar & Amol Shah beat Rajiv Ganpule & Anand Vithalkar 21-14, 21-14; Open Mixed Doubles: Sushant Niddodi and Deanne Rodrigues beat Shailesh Daga and Naheed Divecha 26-24, 17-21, 21-15
