LILLE: Uefa said it is taking disciplinary action against Hungary, Belgium and Portugal after further crowd trouble at three Euro 2016 football games on Saturday.

The Uefa Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has charged the Hungarian federation on three counts relating to the behaviour of their fans - setting off fireworks, throwing objects and crowd disturbances.

Hungary fans clashed with stewards and some police before the game when trying to climb a fence to enter a section behind one goal. Riot police then formed in lines in front a section of Hungary fans, in the same end of Stade Velodrome where Russians attacked England fans one week earlier.

Hungary fans then lit or threw flares or firecrackers during the national anthems, when Iceland was awarded a penalty kick, and after their team scored a late goal in a 1-1 draw.

UEFA is likely to impose a fine, which could be more severe as it is the second case involving Hungary at Euro 2016 - the team’s first major tournament in 30 years.

An earlier charge followed Hungary fans setting off fireworks in Bordeaux at a 2-0 win over Austria.

Disciplinary proceedings have also been opened against the Belgian FA after fans set off fireworks and threw objects during their 3-0 victory over Ireland in Bordeaux.

Portugal have been charged after at least one fan came onto the pitch following their scoreless draw with Austria.

The hearing for the Hungarian FA will be held on June 21.

In Paris, a fan ran on to the field after the Portugal match ended to take a selfie with Ronaldo.

Ronaldo gestured to a security official to stay back and make sure the fan got the picture.

The man ran across half the field from behind one goal and caught up with Ronaldo near the halfway line. The security officer and another official waited for the photo to be taken and then led the fan away.
