MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday released the schedule of the 83rd edition of Ranji Trophy which will begin from October 6. For the first time all the matches will be played at neutral venues following the suggestion from the Sourav Ganguly-led technical committee.
Ranji Trophy final will be played from January 7 to 11 followed by Irani Cup will be played from January 18 to 22 between Ranji Trophy champions and the Rest of India XI. The Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament will be played from January 29 followed by Vijay Hazare Trophy (knockout format) from March 13-18 and the Prof DB Deodhar Trophy from March 25-29.
